Club Annual Plant Sale and Special Raffle

We are pleased to
announce a true sign of spring! The Nashua
Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale
Saturday, May 19th from 8 am to noon on the
grounds of the Nashua Historical Society at 5
Abbott Street, Nashua. This event will be held
rain or shine. Early birds will line up
beforehand in anticipation of getting the best
selection from 100ís of beautiful perennials,
annuals, bulbs, herbs, and indoor plants.
Members of the garden club, including several
Master Gardeners, will be available to help with
selections and to answer any questions.

features a wide and growing variety of creative,
themed gift baskets. This yearís raffle is
exceptional and includes a one-of-a-kind garden
sculpture created by New England based sculptor
Joe Gray. Known throughout New England, and as
far away as Southern France and the United
Kingdom, Mr. Grayís work has been showcased at
the Boston Flower and Garden Show and the
Newport Flower Show. Donít miss a chance to win
this unique conversation piece to add to your
garden or lawn. All proceeds, including those
from the sale of delicious, aromatic home-made
baked goods, support the club's educational and
beautification projects throughout the year.

even more civic activities for your enjoyment.
The Nashua Historical Society will be dedicating
a tulip tree to Frank H. and Marvis J. Mellen
for their enduring devotion to the mission of
the Historical Society. The Societyís Florence
H. Speare Memorial Museum will be open and books
about historical Nashua and other items will be
available for purchase.

The Nashua Garden Club is an independent non-denominational club that
devotes itself to the diverse needs and interests of its many-faceted member gardeners.
Founded in 1961, the Club's uniqueness lies in its
accommodation to its members by holding meetings in the evening. The Club's mission is to encourage
its members to fully involve themselves in learning about and participating in the many and varied aspects
of horticulture, landscape design, floral design, and the civic beautification of our community.
